I volunteered for the Fire Department for two years when I lived in the greater Houston Area (Pearland). I would remind home owners that not only is daylight savings a time to set our clocks forward, but it’s also a time to change out the batteries in our Smoke/CO Detectors. Don't allow that alarm to start chirping. Install fresh batteries for your Detectors. It just might save your life one day. This year it is on March 13th!!
